Echowave Studios

Privacy policy

Last updated 2 November 2026

Echowave Studios ("we") is an independent game studio based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This policy covers the website echowavestudio.com, our games (including WICK on the App Store and Google Play), and the playable invitations we make for customers.

WICK (mobile app and browser game)

WICK does not collect, store or share any personal information. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your progress and settings are saved only on your own device and are removed if you delete the app or clear your browser data. The app does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone or photos.

This website

The website does not use cookies or advertising trackers. Our host, Cloudflare, processes basic technical information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. If we turn on Cloudflare Web Analytics, it counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.

Invitation customers

When you order a playable invitation, we collect what you send us to build it: names, event details, photos and your contact details. We use this only to make and run your invitation. We delete original photos 30 days after your event; the compressed images inside the game stay live with the invitation until it is archived, normally 12 months after the event.

Your guests

Invitation links are unlisted and hidden from search engines. If an invitation includes an RSVP, guest answers are shared only with the hosts who ordered it. We never sell guest information or use it for marketing.

Children

Our games are suitable for all ages and do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@echowavestudio.com. We follow Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA).

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
